Healing...I Hope.. (Closed)

POV Kiara Grace

'Back again I see?' Lani asked me, she was casually sitting in a chair next to my bed at Derin his side. 'That coming from you.' I spat my words at her. 'Oh yes, I just came to check on the two of you, and give you something.' She said and she took my pencil out of her pocket. 'That's mine, but I've never lost it, no need of giving it back to me.' I said to her. 'Oh but that's not all Kiara, don't worry.' She said smiling. She stood up from her chair and walked around the bed of Derin. 'Leave him alone...' I said with a strong voice. 'Nah, I'll start with you.' She walked to me and snapped my pencil in half. 'No!' I sat up right in my bed but Lani pushed me down. A familiar feeling came from her hand, blackness. 'Ahh- what, how, impossible.' I said as I fell back. She grabbed Derin his arm and it turned black. He didn't move a muscle though. Kiara, this is fake, he'd move if it weren't. Wake up! Lani laughed. 'Yes, wake up, until we meet again, or will you be dead before that?' I heard Derin his voice break trough the dream. 'You awake?'

My eyes flew open and I took a deep breath. 'Yes, yes, yes, I am awake, wait, you're not dead, I am not dead. Live is great sometimes isn't it? Or is this the underworld looking like the infirmary? Derin are we dead?' I blurted out in a stream of emotions. I blinked a couple of times and moved my head backwards slightly in confusion. 'Are we? Just hear me talking here, we're not dead.' I grinned, I am such an idiot. Which reminds me why we're here, and alive.

'Derin, I screwed up, Lani got away. Darn it!' I looked at the ceiling, and placed my hands on my forehead. 'I am the winner of worst demigod in existence of Camp Half-Blood. I can't even take her. I suck, all I do is cause trouble. I should just stay in my cabin and, sit there. Do nothing that I am able to fail doing.'

I felt like the subject needed a change. 'How are you? You really scared me yesterday.' Or I thought it was yesterday.

I grinned when Kiara spewed out questions but frowned when she blamed herself. I looked over at her and said, "Kiara, look at me." She did. "It wasn't your fault..It was mine..and I'm the worst demigod, I zoned out in the middle of battle looking at y-" and I stopped before I embarrassed myself. Which of course I already did because now I'm blushing....Ohhh great Derin good job. I continued, "It's my fault she got away, I should have been paying attention. You where hurt so I was the last chance and I screwed up..." I need to talk to her about my dream, it was messed up. I still worried about the second part....

Then a kid came over, he looked mischievous and hid something behind his back. But he also had what looked like ambrosia and nectar. He said to call him Al. "Thanks Al." I said popping an ambrosia square into my mouth. It tasted like the pizza from the pizza place back in San Fran I loved. I wonder why he doesn't like the Apollo kids? I better not ask, not my business. "So uh, Al. Did Chiron or Ater mention anything about what went on after I blacked out? I know you weren't there, but I really wasn't much their either." I said pointing to my head and rolling my eyes, implying that I was out of it.

"Now that I answered what I know about after you passed out, what happened before you did?" I was quite curious.
    "Ehm, Derin, did you dream anything weird and scary?" the girl asked Derin. He answered her question first, it was quite interesting, it featured an unknown voice, a burning Camp Half-Blood and a woman in a library in San Francisco, which only raised my curiosity.
Sadly we're all a bunch of ADHD kids, so often your questions remained unanswered when there was a form of distraction, please answer my question because I would like to understand the conversation! I thought

'Your dream Derin, no you wouldn't set fire to camp. Leave that to the Hephaestus kids, and I know they wouldn't set camp on fire either. Don't worry, I am quite sure that camp isn't going to catch fire any time soon.' I listened closely as he described the woman. Grey eyes, blonde hair, library. 'Hey I have an idea, notice how you and your siblings all have blonde hair and grey eyes. Derin, that woman was Athena, your mother. How many other persons do know who would appear in your dream, looking like that, in a library? It had to be her.'

'Ehm, yes...' I said thinking back to the stabbing part. 'I think I've got a permanent distaste for daggers now, speaking of weapons, were on earth did mine go?' I checked the usual spot just to be sure but its case was empty. 'I think Lani did in fact leave it in the hallway. I know where to look.' I looked at Al. 'Probably in your cabin. Have you seen any rainbow pencil laying around there recently?'

"Ohhh, duhh!" I said smacking myself in the head. "For an Athena kid I can be pretty....thick sometimes." I listened to Al's suggestion about my dream. The dream was really bothering me. The last thing I would want would camp to burn, especially because of me.... I..I..I have to get away from camp...far away so I can't hurt it....so I can't hurt Kiara. No, you can't do that. They need as many people as they can get and they would be out a strategist and a fighter if I left....Uhhhgg, this is hurting my head! I'll talk to Kiara later about it...or should I? She convince me not to and I could end up hurting her and camp. I sat there for a while having this internal conflict, probably with a dumb expression on my face, for a while. I eventually put both of my hands to my face and flopped back down to the bed, wincing from the pain of the impact. "Uhhh," I groaned.

I raised an eyebrow, he could be thinking of leaving? Why for the love of Zeus his majestic beard would you leave camp?
    "Oh gods! I still have to complete my round! I'll be back in a minute or five!" I had remembered the reason I was in the infirmary: to take care of it, luckily I only had to take care of a few campers and then I'd be done for the day.
I'm pretty sure they preferred having a conversation without me though, yet I returned later on.

(OOC: Sorry for the late and short post, I have a severe lack of time at the moment. Skip me next turn, but only then)

As Al continued his round, whatever a Hermes child does on his or her round I listened to Derin his response. 'Hey, it's ok. You only want to protect camp, I understand that. Though I think staying here would be more helpful than leaving. You're a strong fighter and if this whole thing does end up in a fight, I think we'd have a better chance with you here.' I said to him, seeing how he was ashamed of his thoughts. Maybe even a bit mad at himself.

'Plus, where'd you run off to? Charlie , to, I don't know, pretend you've decided to turn and then secretly get Lani? Remember last time we tried to set her up? That...didn't work out as planned, let me put it that way. And if you ran off, you'd be sure I'd come looking for you. Whether that's such a good idea. Not quite sure it is...' I added to my argumentation for him to stay here. He'd have to be convinced by now right? I was pretty convinced by myself that leaving camp wouldn't be smart. And then there were also the monsters which I hadn't brought up yet. No need for them, hopefully. 'Maybe if we plan our next plan a tiny bit less impulsive it'll work out just fine.' I said thinking about the fact we still had something coming up. Lani was still coming up. I told Derin of my dream.'I also had this dream, less important or burning down of camp influences but you might want to hear it anyways.'
